Overdenkingen
Ik heb zelf niet veel kennis over te Bijbel.
Ik weet wel veel van wat er geschreven staat maar theologisch stel ik niets voor. Ik heb er nooit voor gestudeerd.
Het is dus mogelijk dat ik sommige zaken anders bekijk, vergeef mij dat, ik probeer gewoon met deze pagina mijn gedachten
over een bepaalde lezing/psalm of Evangelie te geven.
30/12/2025 eerste lezing: 1 Joh. 2, 12-17
De eerste lezing gaat over de wereld en hoe deze niet van God is. Hij regeert, zeker, maar staat het kwade nog altijd toe. Hij doet dit, in mijn eigen mening, om het kaf van het koren te kunnen scheiden. Want als enkel het goede er nog is, dan is er ook nog enkel koren, maar wie het goede doet, moet dat vanuit zijn hart doen en niet vanuit een wet. Wie het goede doet, kent immers God en God is geen Wet, maar een Woord. Een Woord van Liefde. De wereld gaat ver achteruit, en dat is normaal, want de begeerten van de wereld zijn berust op zeer kwade zaken. Velen zeggen: dat is menselijk, ik echter zeg u dat de mens er niks mee te maken heeft! Al het kwade op aarde word immers veroorzaakt door hij die het kwade is. Vele zeggen: de mens is niet volmaakt, wij maken fouten, dat is menselijk. Ik echter zeg u dat het niets met de mens te maken heeft, want de mens IS volmaakt, maar kan niet, in deze wereld, tot die volmaaktheid komen. Als hij God leert kennen echter, sterft die mens in zijn binnenste, en de volmaaktheid komt er door schijnen. Wie liefde voor de wereld heeft, kent God niet, want alles in de wereld is vergankelijk, en God is dat niet. Maar wat niet vergankelijk is, is onze liefde voor onze naaste. Dat is God dus. Want enkel God is niet vergankelijke, maar alles van de wereld, zal voorbij gaan. Johannes vertelt het mooi in de eerste lezing, kinderen noemt hij ons, en dat zijn wij ook. Want al worden wij 100 jaar, wij zijn nog steeds een kind. En niet in de zin van: Kinderen van God, al zijn wij dat ook, maar kinderen in de zin van onze gemoedstoestand en onze gedachtegang. In hoe wij handelen en denken: dat maakt ons tot kleine kinderen. Want in de tijden vroeger leefden met nog eeuwen, men kon makkelijk 800 jaar worden. Wat is dan 100 jaar anders dan 10 jaar zijn? Wij zijn en blijven kinderen, al worden wij 110 jaar. Laat u daarom leiden door onze Heer Jezus Christus, want kinderen hebben Leiding nodig. Wij beseffen dat niet meer omdat wij snel denken volwassen te zijn, echter is Johannes zeer duidelijk: kinderen noemt hij ons. Leer Gods leiding te aanvaarden, want Hij weet wat het beste is voor u, probeer de zonde te laten en als het niet lukt ga dan oprecht biechten in de Kerk. Want ik zeg u dat God u enorme kracht zal geven erna en de zonde die ge deed zal geen macht meer hebben over u! Ja ik zeg u waarachtig: Hij neemt niet alleen de schuld weg maar de oorzaak van de schuld ook! Leg uw leven, en uw hart, in de handen van God en het zal allemaal goed komen met u. Kijk, niet naar de wereld en diens begeerten, want die begeerten zijn als holle riet. Zij staan er in meervoud, maar zodra de wind komt knakken zij en ziet ge hun ware betekenis: Niets. Zij zijn niets. Maar de Liefde van God woont in ons hart, en Hij is alles, en wanneer de wind komt, blijft ge standvastig staan: Niets kan u nog ten gronde richten. Ga daarom naar God, opdat niets u nog ten gronde kan richten, en gij kunt herschapen worden naar het Beeld van God en ik zeg u: Alles zal u goed vergaan.

29/12/2025 eerste lezing: 1 Joh. 2, 3-11
Het gebod waar over gesproken word in de eerste lezing is heb elkaar lief. Dat is het Enige Gebod in werkelijkheid maar enkel de Kinderen van God begrijpen dat. Er zijn ook andere kinderen, en zij leven graag bij wetten en tradities. En daar is niks verkeerds mee, maar soms kom ik mensen tegen die zo zijn in het Katholieke geloof, vooral het traditionele dus en die vinden dat de Kerk van hun alleen is want zij alleen dienen God. Ze achten zich dus vaak beter. Zij brengen een verwrongen evangelie van een God waarbij de modernere kant een Vader heeft. Ge ziet dat ook in hoe ze zijn, de ene denkt goed te zijn en denkt geen zwakheden te hebben, de andere heeft enorme zwakheden maar kan dat toch ook soms toegeven. In ieder geval is de reden: God boven alles, dat is waar maar dan moet ge ook kijken naar wat God wilt. En Hij heeft dat gezegd. Wij weten dus hoe wij God kunnen liefhebben: Door elkaar lief te hebben. Ieder Kind van God begrijpt dat, dat de liefde voor elkaar een liefde voor God is, maar vaak is een liefde voor God, geen liefde voor de mens. Ge moet u dan niet laten misleiden, want als er geen liefde voor de mens is, kan er nooit liefde voor God zijn.

28/12/2025 Kolossenzen 3, 12-21
In de eerste lezing worden wij opgeroepen elkaar te vergeven en te verdragen. Dit is met momenten zeer moeilijk omdat het kwade er alles aandoet om dat moeilijk te maken. Hij richt zich altijd op de persoon zelve in onze gedachten en legt alle schuld bij hem. Wat nog erger is is dat hij dat ook soms met God doet, als Hij ons niet lijkt te verhoren. Wij spreken dan vlug kwaad over die bepaalde mens of zelfs over God. Wij vergeten dan echter steeds dat niet de mens of God het probleem is, maar het kwade. God weet hoe vaak ik het vergeet. Ik durf ook nog eens kwaad te worden op God omdat ik mij niet verhoord voel of omdat ik bedroefd en teleurgesteld ben in Hem. Maar eigenlijk kan dat niet, want God stelt niet teleur, het is dan ook duidelijk dat het niet over God gaat maar over het kwade. Toch vergeten we dat vaak. Wij oordelen ook graag over anderen, sommige noemen het liefhebben. Hen waarschuwen voor de hel. Maar in werkelijkheid is het enige gebod de liefde, en het is duidelijk in deze lezing wat die inhoud: elkaar vergeven en verdragen. Wij horen dus niet meer elkander te oordelen op de zonde, maar elkander te vermanen over de liefde. Er is immers geen oordeel meer voor hen die vrijgekocht zijn door Christus. Als wij ons evenzeer zouden richten op de liefde als op het oordelen, dan zou Christus niet meer hoeven te komen, dan was alles in orde. Naargelang Hij nog moet komen, zal het dus enkel maar erger worden. Doe u best om andere te vergeven en te verdragen, want het is de basis van de wet die Liefde is.

De eerste lezing vandaag gaat over de apostel Johannes die getuigd over Christus. Hoe hij het eeuwige leven heeft gezien. En ook ik kan daarvan getuigen, ik heb Hem dan wel niet gezien maar wel ontmoet. Daar heeft Hij getoond dat Hij werkelijk het eeuwige leven is, want Hij is gestorven maar leeft nog steeds. Ieder die Hem aanvaard, kan tot dat eeuwig leven komen, want alles dat aan Hem geschonken is, wilt Hij dat de Vader aan ons schenkt. Dat is Zijn wens. Dat alle kinderen van God dezelfde dingen krijgen als Hij. Dat zij bij Hem zullen zijn wanneer ze sterven. Christus ligt niet te slapen, Hij leeft! En als wij sterven, dan hebben wij dezelfde toekomst die ons te wachten staat. Als wij maar volhouden in ons geloof, en niets ons van God laten wegtrekken. Geen dromen en geen verlangens. Want de enige droom, en het enige verlangen, ligt in de Heer. En wie de Heer heeft, heeft eigenlijk alles wat hij nodig heeft. Soms willen wij meer, maar meer is nooit genoeg, en meer is nooit voldoende en vervullend. Het enige dat vervullend en voldoende is, is de Heer en Zijn liefde. Daarom vraag ik u, om te groeien in het verlangen naar de Heer. En dan zult gij altijd gelukkig zijn, zolang gij de Heer maar dicht bij u hebt.

Wij worden opgeroepen in het Evangelie om nooit te vrezen. Wanneer God door ons heen werkt, en wij die zekerheid hebben, hoeven wij nooit te vrezen om wat wij moeten zeggen. God staat boven alle kwaad, en wie in Zijn naam spreekt legt het kwade veelal het zwijgen op. Maar dat gebeurt niet meteen. Alles moet groeien, zo moet u ook hergroeien. Men noemt dat de hergeboorte. Zolang dat niet gebeurd, kan u niet zeker zijn. Als u echter de kracht van God over de jaren hebt ervaren, en een beter mens bent geworden, dan moet gij nooit meer vrezen. Want God maakt elk werk af waar Hij aan begint. En elk werk dat voleindigt is is goed in zijn ogen. Zeer goed. Want zulke God hebben wij. Wij moeten enkel het verlangen hebben om die goede mens te willen zijn. En God, doet al de rest. Als wij dan komen, voor anderen, en ons geloof moeten verdedigen, dan moeten wij nooit bang zijn. Want als God wilt dat gij getuigenis aflegt, dan zult gij ze afleggen, en als ze met u beginnen twisten zullen ze uiteindelijk moeten zwijgen, of zelfs gaan lopen. Want de Geest van de Vader kan door ons heen spreken, en doet dat ook door sommigen. Groei naar God toe, zodat ge kunt spreken namens God, en Zijn wil openbaar kunt maken, over de gehele aarde.

25/12/2025 Joh. 1, 1-18 of 1-5. 9-14
Vandaag zien wij in het Evangelie dat alles door het Woord geschapen is, en dat het Woord van in den beginnen bij Hem was. Daar zien wij dat er God is, de Vader en het Woord, in Genesis zien wij ook nog dat Zijn Geest over de aarde rondzwierf. We zien dus drie Personen: God de Vader, Het Woord en De Geest van God. De Vader, de Zoon en de Heilige Geest. Want met het Woord, word verwezen naar Jezus Christus. Wat is hier nu zo speciaal aan? Wel stel u een witte kleur voor, die neutraal is en ge gaat ermee door een andere kleur, wat doet die dan? Ze vermengt zich ermee en er ontstaat iets nieuws uit. Maar in alles is het zoals de originele kleur. Zo is het ook met hoe alles geschapen is door Christus, en daarom is het zo dat wij zelfs op Christus gelijken. In deze wereld echter kunt ge het zien als het schilderen van een perfect schilderij. God schilderde dat, en het is wie we echt zijn. Er kwam echter een vijand, en die besmeurde het doek en maakte het heel lelijk. Dat is de zonde in ons. Wel ik zeg u waarachtig dat God weet wat er onder die laag zit. Hij heeft het zelf geschilderd. En al ligt heel de wereld in de misleiding dat het allemaal hun schuld is, God weet beter, ge kunt God niet misleiden. Het is allemaal de schuld van het kwade. Want alles is geschapen door het Woord, en in alles lijken wij dus op het Woord, net geheel NIET op het kwade. Wij zijn naar het Beeld van God geschapen, door het Woord heen, met de Heilige Geest. Niet naar het kwade. Net zoals de duisternis geen deel is van God, zo is ze ook geen deel van ons. Ik zeg u waarachtig dat gij diep vanbinnen volmaakt bent. Alles staat maar in 1 teken in deze avond, de geboorte van Christus. Velen denken niet meer aan Hem tijdens het vieren van Kerstmis, hij heeft echter aan ons allen gedacht tijdens het sterven aan het kruis. Dat is genoeg voor mij. Hij heeft mij gered. Nu denken velen dat zij niet open moeten staan voor hem en gewoon het goede moeten doen, maar zonder Hem kunnen wij dat niet. Ook ik niet. Als ik niet bid en Hem ontving in de Hostie, dan ben ik niet meer in staat het goede te doen. Het bidden van de rozenkrans verandert men als mens, alsook door bezig te zijn met Zijn Woord en Hem ontvangen in de Hostie. Kijk, velen denken dat het allemaal wel goed zit, maar Hij is niet voor niets geboren voor ons, om te sterven. Van niets slechts kunt ge Hem betichten, dan hebt ge maar een verdraaide geest. Hij kwam om ons te redden. Hij heeft mij gered. Hij wilt ieder van ons redden. Dankzij het wonder van Kerstmis word dat mogelijk.

In zowel de lezing als het Evangelie zien wij een verwijzing naar de komst van Johannes de Doper. Zoals elke Koning heeft ook Christus een Boodschapper die voor Hem uitgaat, om ieder van Zijn komst te verwittigen. Ook wij zijn zoals Johannes in vele opzichten. Ook wij horen als een boodschapper voor Hem uit te gaan en te verkondigen over Zijn grote werken en Zijn komst. Eigenlijk deed Johannes veel van het werk dat ook wij horen te doen. Veel roep ik op om naar bepaalde personen te kijken, Johannes de Doper, Maria, Jozef, de Profeten, de Heiligen. Al de goede eigenschappen van hen waartoe ik oproep kwamen echter bij elkaar in 1 Persoon, namelijk Jezus Christus. Word zoals Christus, en Hij zal u richten tot waar gij moet gaan en wat gij moet doen. En dan zult gij meer en meer op hen allen beginnen te lijken, want het is door de Geest dat wij allen broeders en zusters zijn.

In het Evangelie van vandaag zien we de lofzang van Maria aan God en eigenlijk zouden dat de woorden van ieder van ons kunnen zijn. Want waar wij Christus als voorbeeld zien, zagen wij al voor Hem een voorbeeld in Maria. Wat God hier voor Maria doet, wilt Hij voor ieder van ons doen, het ligt in de lijn met wat Hij altijd gedaan heeft: de geringe verheffen. Vele verhogen zichzelf graag, omdat dat tekenen van macht en positie zijn, als gij echter door God verhoogt wilt worden zult ge net het omgekeerde moeten doen, uzelf verlagen. Dat zijn dingen die de mens niet uit zijn natuur doet, zelfs niet kan, want hij wilt steeds de grootste zijn. Maar de grootste zijn net diegene die zich klein achten, en in dienstbaarheid werken van hun naaste en God. Wie klein is, is daarom zeer groot, want hij gaat in tegen zijn natuur, en laat de echte natuur door schijnen: zijn eigen volmaaktheid. Want de volmaaktheid zit niet in het groot maken van uzelf, maar in het groot maken van anderen! En dat is exact wat God met ons mensen wil doen, want Hij is volmaakt. De volmaaktheid zit niet in het groot maken van Zichzelf, maar in het groot maken van ieder mens dat zijn vertrouwen en geloof op Hem stelt. Hij zal hen allemaal verhogen, omdat de wereld niets anders gedaan heeft dan hen verlagen. Word gij vaak verhoogd? Of net verlaagd? Denk dan over alles eens na wat ge wilt bekomen: Grootsheid in de wereld of grootsheid bij God. Grootsheid in de wereld is gemakkelijk, al zult ge er hard voor moeten werken maar de grootsheid van God is moeilijker, al moet ge er niks zelf voor doen. Wie groot is in de ogen van God, word groot gemaakt door God zelve. Wie klein is in de ogen van God, word nog kleiner gemaakt door God zelve. Groten worden klein en kleinen worden groot. Dat is het begin van het Koninkrijk van God.

Als we naar de eerste lezing kijken zien we Paulus andere oproepen. En zo worden wij eigenlijk ook opgeroepen. Om te verkondigen, te spreken over God. Te vaak denken wij dat dat de taak van de Kerk is, maar de Kerk is in werkelijkheid iedere gedoopte. En iedere gedoopte heeft dus zijn talenten die hij of zij kan inzetten voor het goede werk. Waar het meestal meer mee te maken heeft is met de zin. En dat heeft dan weer met de onvolmaaktheid te maken. En dat heeft dan weer te maken met het kwade. Dat is de reden, waarom wij de kracht van de kwade moeten uitschakelen in onszelf, door te bidden en Hem te ontvangen. Wij horen ook een goed mens te willen te zijn. Want ik heb dat altijd gewild, maar was het nooit. Tot ik Hem ontmoette, door mijn geloof in de Hostie dat het Christus is. Nu ben ik al een pakken beter mens, en ik verbeter nog altijd. Want waar God iets begint, dat maakt Hij ook af. Laat aan u beginnen mensen, de wil om goed te zijn is genoeg. En zo zie ik, dat alles niet uit onszelf komt, maar uit wat ons ten beurt valt van God. En dan zie ik dat wij moeten bidden, zoveel we kunnen opdat we veel kunnen verkrijgen. En de mensen die zeggen: ge moet niet naar God gaan om wat Hij kan geven, zijn dwazen en ge moet er niet naar luisteren. Ze zijn bezig met hun ego. God wilt u alles geven opdat gij een goed mens KUNT zijn. Wat zou ge dan op die manier moeten denken. God maakt inderdaad gelukkig en blij, door de Vreugde die Hij schenkt, en Hij maakt van ons een beter mens. Als dat is wie gij wilt zijn, dan bent ge geroepen door Hem.

Maria haar ja was er eentje van grote verandering. Het bracht verandering in het leven van haarzelf en haar man, maar ook in dat van ons allemaal. Dankzij het Ja-woord van beiden hebben wij immers de kans op verlossing gekregen. Soms zien wij er tegen op om het goede te doen, wij schamen ons er zelfs voor soms. Ze gaan het niet begrijpen of, ze gaan me uitlachen. Echter kunnen wij van Maria & Jozef leren niet te kijken naar wat anderen van ons denken. Het is belangrijker om te kijken naar wat God van ons denkt. Maria was onberispelijk, want geen mens kan die dingen doen zonder onberispelijk te zijn. Het is dus zeer goed mogelijk dat Maria niet bevlekt was met de erfzonde, want wie constant een Ja kan zeggen, op alles dat de Heer vraagt, is alreeds onder leiding van de Heilige Geest. Want het is door Die Geest dat wij ja kunnen zeggen. Zegt ge nog veel nee? Bid dan de rozenkrans dagelijks en ontvang Hem in de Hostie zoveel ge kunt, en uw neen zal veranderen in een ja. Want als wij het toelaten, dan word God werkzaam in ons, en hij maakt van elke nee een ja zelf! Ja! Wij hebben een God die al het werk voor ons doet, door ons heen. Hij zorgt er zelf voor dat wij werken der redding doen, naast het geloof dat Hij zelf geeft. Want het is ons geloof dat ons red, zeker, maar als er geen werken uit voort stromen dan hebt ge nooit echt geloof gehad! Want het geloof is het begin, het zet alles in werking, het is niet het einddoel. Ook zijn eigen werken niets waard. Als ge dus altijd maar vind dat gij het moet doen, dan klopt er iets niet. Want niet onze werken redden ons, maar de werken van God door ons heen. Als gij er moeite mee hebt, wat zeer normaal is in deze wereld, bid dan wat meer en ga Hem meer ontvangen en ge zult zien dat uiteindelijk alles veel makkelijker word. En dat uw neen, een ja is geworden.

In het Evangelie van vandaag zien we de grote macht van God. Hoe hij alles onder controle heeft, Hij kan ons zelfs het zwijgen opleggen als Hij dat wenst. Soms denken wij dat wij zelf alles onder controle moeten hebben, wij vertrouwen liever op onszelf: wij zijn toch onszelf, denken wij dan, wij moeten het doen. Het gevaar daarin echter zit dat gij meermaals domme dingen zult doen, omdat ge uzelf volgt. Het is vele malen beter om ook op God te vertrouwen, want Hij heeft een enorme macht. Bidden is daarvoor zeer belangrijk, blijven vragen ook al ontvangt ge niet meteen, want zoals ge kunt zien, kan Hij ons zelfs onder controle nemen, ons gehele lichaam. Hij kan onze voeten laten gaan naar waar Hij wilt, Hij kan ons spreken laten zijn zoals Hij wilt. Hij doet dat echter niet snel, omdat Hij onze vrije wil respecteert. Hij wilt dat dus liever niet doen. Hij wilt geen controle over ons hebben, ook al kan Hij het. Dat is een zeer grote macht van God en Hij gebruikt ze liever niet. Maar wij kunnen wel ons overgeven aan God, en in elk gebed vragen en alsook bij het ontvangen van de Hostie, om herschapen te worden naar de Wil van God. En Hij zal dat dan doen. Want wij geven de toestemming. En dan kunnen wij een betere mens worden, zonder eigen kracht, en als het uit kracht van God gebeurd, dan kan het enkel maar goed aflopen. Dan kan het niet meer falen, of wij zouden in ongeloof moeten schieten. Wat ook mooi is aan de tekst is hoe de Engel weer direct zegt: Vreest niet! Het is dus duidelijk dat de Engelen veelal mensen bezochten, en hen uitkozen, die God vreesde, anders zou de Engel dat niet zeggen. Het is dus goed om God te vrezen, maar niet in de zin dat Hij een bullebak is die veel macht over ons heeft. Wij horen te vrezen, dat wij God niet behagen. Of zoals de jonge Heilige Carlo Acutis zo mooi zei: Wij moeten een Heilige schrik hebben voor de zonde! Dat is waar wij bang voor moeten zijn, dat wij tegen God misdoen. Niet zozeer van wat God tegen ons kan doen, maar wat wij tegen God kunnen doen. Want als wij daar rekening zouden mee houden, dan zouden wij geen vrees meer moeten hebben, want dan trachten wij goed te leven. En als het dan toch eens verkeerd gaat, dan kunnen wij erop rekenen een Advocaat in de Hemel te hebben die voor ons pleit, namelijk Jezus Christus. Vrees daarom niet teveel, maar houd enorme rekening met God, en dat zal u als een Heilige vrees worden aangerekend.

Veel kijken wij naar Maria, maar vandaag kijken wij naar Jozef in het Evangelie en zien wij een weerspiegeling van zijn vrouw. Zo kennen wij Maria als de vrouw die ja zei, maar ook Jozef zei steeds ja. Bedenkt het u eens, u vrouw komt af dat zij zwanger is van de Heilige Geest. Ge hebt er geen gemeenschap mee gehad. Jozef wilde in stilte scheiden, om de schaamte te besparen. Maar dan komt er een engel in een droom en stelt hem gerust: Het kind IS van de Heilige Geest. En wat doet Jozef? Ook hij zegt Ja. Hij zegt meermaals ja maar daar word niet veel over gesproken. Jozef is een verlengde van Maria, ge kunt niet over Maria spreken zonder Jozef te vermelden en andersom werkt het ook niet: Zij vormen 1 geheel. Wij kunnen ook rekenen op Jozef als wij tot bidden, hij kan en wilt ons ook helpen. Hij geeft echter in de eerste plaats die eer aan zijn vrouw, omdat God haar die eer heeft gegeven. Wij kunnen veel leren van Jozef, want dit alles geschiedde in de tijd dat vrouwen onderdanig aan de man moesten zijn. Maar Jozef was nederig en ging niet met de eer lopen die zijn vrouw ten beurt valt. En dat doet hij nog steeds niet. Vaak ga ik naar de Kerk, en dan zie je het duidelijk, bij Maria branden talloze kaarsjes en bij Jozef, geen. Wij kunnen veel leren van Jozef, minstens zoveel als van Maria.

De lezingen van vandaag en alsook de Psalm, verwijzen naar de komst van Jezus Christus in mijn ogen. Er word verwezen naar Iemand die Zijn volk zal redden van zijn vijanden. Dat heeft Christus gedaan maar zij hebben het niet erkend. Want zij dachten dat het allemaal op politiek vlak zou geschieden, maar het was op spiritueel vlak. De vijand is namelijk het kwade. Christus heeft het kwade verslagen en daarmee al onze vijanden. En zij die ervoor kiezen ons tot vijand te zijn, weten niet beter en wij horen voor hen te bidden. Wanneer Hij wederkomt, zal er rechtvaardigheid geschieden, en de laatste vijanden zullen aan ons onderworpen worden: ziekte, dood, hongersnood, armoede. Dat zijn allemaal spirituele vijanden, en Christus komst heeft ervoor gezorgd dat wij binnenkort er niet meer hoeven onder te lijden. Als wij Hem maar aanvaarden en Zijn geboden onderhouden. Waarvan het belangrijkste gebod is: Heb elkaar lief.

Jezus is hier niet mals voor de Hoge Priesters en oudsten van het volk. En zij stonden voorop in de maatschappij. Zo staan er nu soms ook mensen voorop. Het ding is dat zij zichzelf voorop plaatsen. Ik geloof dat God voor iedereen bereikbaar is, die Hem wilt leren kennen, en ook Christus verwijst daar naar in het Evangelie van vandaag. Zelfs de prostituees en de tollenaars geloofden in Johannes, en zagen in hem al een verwijzing naar het Licht dat komen zou. Zo zijn er nu ook zulke mensen. Iedereen bezit de Heilige Geest en is dus in staat het werk van God te doen. Maar wij horen te bidden, en best dagelijks de mis bekijken, al is het online omdat er geen mis is bij u, en zondag toch naar een mis gaan om Hem echt te ontvangen. Wij horen dat te doen, om herschapen te worden naar dat wat God van ons verlangt. Als wij voor zulke zaken bidden, om te groeien in Gods wil, hoeven wij nooit te vrezen, wie we ook zijn. De Hoge Priesters en oudsten lieten zich voorop staan door hun status, maar God verhief de zwakke van geest.
